ESA F2F physical examination was created by emmasmum
Hi.
I've got a query about the ESA F2F please
As The HCP needs to assess you using the aids you normally use, does this apply to the physical examination too? I use normally use 2 crutches outside of my house, so will I be examined for the standing tests while I'm using crutches? Would I be able to lean against a wall if not, as I'm very unsteady otherwise.
Thanks in advance

If you have a physical examination where you are asked to carry out these activities then you should be assessed based on the aids you need to use, but it's unlikely that they will perform this level of test during the assessment.
Assessors prefer to make informal observations of the claimant as they are in the assessment centre, so your ability to stand and to walk will most likely be assessed as you get up from the chair in the in waiting room and as you follow them to the assessment room.
