What do I do if the GP won't do a letter unless DWP contact them wanting to know the questions they want answered

More and more GPs are refusing to write reports unless DWP ask for them directly, so you are not alone in having this problem.

One thing that can help is to request to view your GP records and then take copies of anything that looks helpful. Some surgeries deal with this promptly, it can take a while with others. They are entitled to make a charge for this.
