Hi my name is John I would like to ask if I sell my house and have a large sum of money from sale will this affect my wife who is in esa support group contribution based the money she receives thanks

As long as your wife's ESA is solely contributory then it will not matter how much money is in the bank accounts. There is no need to notify DWP.
Even if a claim is income-related (in part or whole) there is usually a disregard for a time if the money is intended to buy a new house. In this case, DWP would have to be notified.
