attendence plan due to absence down to dusability? was created by chewbacca
I have been on and off down to my back pain which started over 2 years ago before it was diagnosed how bad it was I was off work. I managed to get back to work with reduced hours and get through about 6/7 months without taking any further time off. Since Jan/ Feb this year I seemed to be back to the real bad phase again and am having to take time off work. So far I have had 10 days absence due to my back pain but now I am being told I will be put on an attendance plan. They know that I have a disability and it is because of this are they able to put me on such a plan?

Hi Chewbacca,
I am sorry you are going through this
I'm afraid we do not deal with this kind of issue on the site. You should take advice from your union rep, if you have one.

No Problem.
Thank you, I thought I'd ask the question. I don't need this on top of my having to deal with my condition
