i have arthritis pain in the knees. I cannot put all my weight on my left leg going down the stairs as it feels like giving way or at least is very painful. I have been prescribed pain killers and ant-inflammatory medicine. The more activity I do the more likely I will get pain and inflammation that gets worse and prevents me repeating the activity. I think the condition will deteriorate and it is making my depression worse. Can someone with this condition advise me if I could qualify for PIP mobility.

I'm afraid there is no way for us to answer this.
There are two way to score points in regard to Mobility, the first looks at any issues that you might have with planning and then following a route, the second looks at how far you can walk!
Have a look at the PIP Claim guide for a more detailed explanation.
