has anyone heard of this or is just me, i heard from my mum who is registered deaf/blind that the dwp are thinking about introducing some sort of bitcoin system instead of money for people with dla so that they can control what you can spend it on and you are not over paid any money or bit coins? is this true? if so what can you tell me about it? thanks.

It's one of a number of ideas that have been floated around to control what benefit claimants can spend their money on, this is one of the more stupid ones given the regular reports of bitcoin accounts being hacked and the coins being stolen.

I don't think it is anything to worry about.
