Mental health was created by patsy166
I had my P.I.P. Interrogation (I mean assessment) on Tuesday. The assessor was not in the least interested in my mental health in spite of my son and I trying to explain the impact it has on my ability to function and do things. She said she was only interested in my physical problems.
She refused to look at the additional information I took with me. Do the assessors have to take your mental health into account? I was very distressed and broke down twice. In the end she ended the assessment because of my distress.
I was in my wheelchair and didn't have to get out of it because she decided not to do the moving around part.

Yes the PIP Assessment guide requires assessors to take and read any evidence submitted on the day.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
