But gives me more information!

I've never tried for NHS wheelchair before, but the old manual lightweight one I have is incredibly uncomfortable, and I really do have to use it every time I go out. So my hope is to get measured up by NHS wheelchair services and get advice from them so I can purchase a chair myself.
Off to doctor now, not my regular GP as she's on call today. It's to see about getting a colonoscopy arranged.
Actually, I wonder if I should put the diverticulitis and colposcopy in my MR notes - I've always assumed the IBS type symptoms I had were part of the ME/CFS, but now I recognise the pain I've been in over the last couple of weeks as the same (though never as long-lasting as this time!). Guess it's not really important as I don't think it'll affect any of the points I'm after.

Rather too interesting visit to GP. A really lovely doc who I haven't seen before, very smiley and kind and a perfect gentleman, a real pleasure to meet - even though he did the "full examination" Eeek!
Got blood tests to get done, one is marker for ovarian cancer, one is general marker for inflammation (CRP) plus full blood count.

He's sending me to see a specialist and to have a colonoscopy.

Should I put all of this stuff in my MR? Or is it just an irrelevance? My brain has turned to mush, quite apart from the way I usually feel rubbish I feel really ILL again, suspect running a raised temperature. Time to try get a working thermometer again I guess! I know where our mercury one was in our old house, but it hasn't surfaced here yet - we've only been here about 4 years after all!

It's up to you but I would have thought it likely that you would have included the effects of any of these potentially new issues in your PIP2 and you don't have an actual diagnosis at the moment, including it now offers the DM the opportunity to exclude it as new conditions occurring since the assessment.

Thank you! My only excuse is I was in a rush.
No problem Maggie.
I'm very glad that your new GP was kind and helpful. The sooner you get this new problem sorted out, the better!

Thanks, Gordon.

The thing is the nature of the pain I had over my time in London is like the pain I got with the "IBS type symptoms" that I've had for some years that I thought was just part of my ME/CFS - it's quite a common thing for ME/CFS patients. So my thought is that I've prob had diverticular disease for some years now. But then it doesn't really add to my points I suspect. As I said earlier, my brain is definitely mush today!
Thank you for your patience!
