I filled out the IS10 form and sent it back. I've not heard anything so far, perhaps too early. If I'm not entitled to the SDP (I'm on ESACON) will they write and tell me ,or just not bother, or will they send me out this ESA3 form to fill in to see if I qualify for the ESAIR top up.
I read on here that someone said they just filled out the IS10 form and straight away received the ESAIR top up without filling in an ESA3.
Thankyou
Ploppy

If DWP have not recently collected details of your financial situation (and I cannot think why they would have!) then you will have to complete an ESA3. There is no other way of showing that you meet the financial conditions.

Hi,
So filling out this IS10 form they sent me was just a waste of time. Instead of sending that out why don't they send out a ESA3 form first then the IS10 form.
So is it reasonable for me to assume I will not receive a reply regarding the IS10 form then, just complete a ESA3.
I haven't heard anything regarding my ESA for around 6 years, haven't got a clue when I should be reassessed and don't really want to know lol.
Thankyou
Ploppy

Please try not to see the worst when are replies are not positive, I doubt that the DWP office concerned has even received your completed IS10 form yet, it can often take 10 days for letters to get through the DWP's internal mail system.
Mrs H is right that we would normally expect an ESA3 to need to be completed as well and this may be something that you receive once the IS10 is processed.
Nothing you have posted suggests that you are not entitled to these extra payments so please try and give the system some time to work.

Hello,
I haven't heard anything regarding the SDP IS10 form I sent back a while ago, do you think it's safe to ring them, or should I wait a while longer?
I'm worried it may trigger an ESA interrogation, haven't had one for a few years and don't want one.

Hi ploppy,
Phoning to see what is happening should not trigger a reassessment. The people who answer the phones have no direct contact with the Decision Makers and do not have any authority to initiate reassessments.
