Need help Mandatory Reconsideration please. was created by Lynn
Hi,
I am disabled and PIP then was sent for an assessment for esa. My doctor gave me a letter requesting a home assessment which they ignored. I can only walk short distance sometimes only to my bathroom which is about 5 feet from my Bed. I'm in and out of having mental health therapy which my therapist says I should also be on esa in a group because of severe anxiety and depression severe depression. I got sent the esa form in February and had the assessment in July and received the letter stating I've been put into work related. I can't wheel myself because of 3 prolapsed disc's anxnd cyst on my spinal cord osteoporosis arthritis in my back, meniscus damage in both knees and arthritis in both. I have lots of falls from my knees dislocating, some ending with broken bones.
I have an alarm at home that calls through to get help. My left arm is in constant pain from holding myself because of the pain in my back which is made worse by using crutches just a short distance. I'm on 8 Tramadol a day, Butrans Patches 10mg each week, along with other meds was told by GP to keep my legs elevated because of swelling in my legs from faulty valves in my ankles.
My therapist has also sent a letter to who ever to be have autism test.
I find it hard to understand and frustrated to be on here asking for help and understanding what I need to do next.my mum was always there to help me, she died 1 January 2015. Last year I was put in a group and assessment by pip, but this year is all gone to hell. I can barely cope. Please help me.

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Have the Assessment Provider explained why they will not offer a Home Assessment?
Was the GP letter sent with your PIP2 or in response to the assessment venue? If the former then it is possible that it has not been looked at, it might be worth your contacting the AP to make sure that they are aware the letter exists.
I would advise you to involve your MP, they can often make a big difference to this issue.

I've already had the esa assessment, they said the doctor did not give enough info in the letter. The letter was accompanied by 2 letters from the hospital doctors giving information from MRI's of my spine.
I don't have a carer to get me a to b. My nephews and sister went with me to the assessment but it's hard to keep asking them.
I also sent a letter from my therapist.
We did ask them to make sure the letters were looked at and at the assessment the woman said yes she has them.
I took a big bag of things that I use everyday to get by, she didn't want to see any of it. I asked my nephew to get the things out and she said No I don't want to see that.
I have trouble sleeping anyway now it's worse and can hardly cope. I started self harming again.
I want to die.

I've sent in for the Mandatory Reconsideration letter by special delivery and they now have it. Some more medical letters including a sick note that my GP is stating I'm still not fit for work.
I still have appointments for my knees, and District nurses. Which I've also sent in so they can see what's happening next.

I joined and paid to this forum and seems I've wasted my money. Getting no advice just what looks like a automated reply. Think my sister was right that this is a con.

What support are you looking for? I replied to your original post about assessments but it then turned out that you had already had one so my answer were redundant, since then you do not appear to have asked any questions!
