This is a legal process, your MP is not allowed to interfere.

It takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal Decision, which includes the one month that they have in which to request a SoR.
Have you actually received notification from the TS that the DWP have requested a SoR, as what you were told may have just been a stalling tactic to stop you chasing them for payment and in reality they have no intention of appealing,

Helen wrote: Thanks Gordon. Yes we have had a letter saying they have requested a SoR. Am I right in saying that once they have reviewed this they will then decide if they want to appeal?
Both parties will have a further month, after the SOR has been sent, in which to appeal the decision if they are going to.
