If I was feeling low & someone put that racket on to cheer me up, I'd sling my laptop at them.

Wolfchile, I can only reiterate what Gordon said, you must attend the medical. Whoever advised you not to is a clown. For what it's worth my doctor used to do medical assesments for dwp before the days of atos/capita. He also sat on tribunals he knows the score and doesn't suffer fools gladly. He wrote me a letter supporting a home visit for dla to pip which Ive just had granted though mine are pretty obvious mobility issues as opposed to agaropbobia and/or mental health issues. However, he often told me some years ago before my mobility was quite as bad that often it's to the claimant's advantage to attend, even if forced to do so, as the assessor gets to see the very real difficulties that claimant has in travelling/attending.Mids on here might disagree but you must attend and get across how difficult attendance has been for you. Take a friend with you,but remember you could always base much of an appeal, shoukd one be needed on the fact that your problems have not been properly taken into account by making you travel in the first place. Good luck.

I will try to go. I have read too many horror stories. I have made myself so ill and cannot eat or sleep. Not been to bed for days just fall asleep downstairs. Its the feeling of helplessness that everything is out of your control. I really feel they are killing me and with other stuff going on it becomes overwhelming like you've been thrown away like a bag of rubbish. I can't fight it any more. I gave it best shot. I am tired of endless assessments and hospitals. Sorry for going on. Thanks for replying and helping me.

Well done, deciding to attend is the first stage to you getting there.
