Got a letter saying DWP are visiting me on Thursday this week. I phone them and they claim I had more that £6000 in my account during late 2014/early 2015. The only addition to my benefits was a PIP back pay of nearly 3000. I have never had anywhere near £6000 in my account!! My wife died a few weeks ago and I and struggling with severe depression, having therapy and on medication. I tried to kill myself once already. I told them this on the phone but the couldnt care less and are still coming.
I cant handle anymore stress, I have had enough of DWP letters over the past few months and now this!! It seems to me they will do anything to get people off benefits even by forcing them to take their own lives!!!
DWP are sick individuals, how the hell do they sleep at night!! Just had enough of them now, whats the point! They have no empathy at all. Sooner I have gone the better.

Sorry to hear of you loss and the difficulties you are having at the moment, I can understand why this letter has come at a bad time.
Your PIP back payment should have been disregarded for 52 weeks. It should be just a matter of providing the relevant bank statements.
