The Decision Makers usually go with the assessor's recommendations. If they don't, for some reason, that would put you in a strong position for an appeal!

Flavia wrote: Thankyou. The only other thing I'm worried about is he's written that I stated every day was the same due to pain, fatigue, breathlessness and light headedness. I actually told him it varied, I'd maybe have a couple of slightly better days a week. He said so two good, 5 bad? I said more like 2 bad and 5 hellish. He laughed at that but if I'm out in my wheelchair on a slightly better day, am I risking being done for fraud. I think I'm just getting totally paranoid now.
As long as you made it clear on your claim form that there is a degree of variability in your conditions thane it should not be an issue.

Flavia wrote: Sitting here crying happy tears. My PIP decision came through today, enhanced for both, exactly the same as my DLA. I've been awarded it to September 2020 and they've acknowledged my condition is variable. I am so relieved. A massive Thankyou for all your help and your wonderful guides, thanks again.
Terrific news, well done.
