Dianne wrote: Hi, I'm new to the site, and just looking for a bit of advise...I applied for PIP at beg of July (have MS, depression ,anxiety ) and had a home assessment 4 weeks ago. It's a new fist claim. I've not had a decision yet but I did request a copy of my assessment report which was very much in my favour. Does anyone know if the DM goes with HP report or not? Thanks in advance for any advice.
In the vast majority of claims, the DM will follow the recommendation of the assessor. Decisions are currently taking 7-8 weeks from the assessment.

The length of wait for a decision has no relation to what the eventual decision is.
