Atos home visit

I completed my PIP claim and returned it last month having used the excellent guides on here. I received details of a home visit for my f2f assessment a week or so later, due this Monday the 3rdI hadn't requested a home visit so I was quite surprised at this. Should I read anything into this, I had heard that Atos are not known to offer home visits that often. Many thanks

It's simply an acknowledgement by ATOS that they see your issues as significant and that an assessment at their offices would have caused you problems.

Many thanks for your reply. Like many others I have been on DLA for a few years and I'm not looking to this coming Monday. At least it sounds like my mobility problems are being acknowledged then, makes me feel a little bit better, but you never know. I just hope that having used the B & W guides when completing my form I'm as successful as others have been. I'll make sure to update you either way.

I'm afraid this is not unusual

Well my rearranged home visit is scheduled for tomorrow morning, if they turn up that is. I have some additional evidence, it wasn't available when I sent my form back, can the HCP refuse to accept it and insist I send it to the DM directly or do they have to accept it and record it at the assessment. Many thanks.
