I had an ESA appeal tribunal 7 weeks ago, at which I was successful and placed in the support group; however, I'm still waiting on the DWP implementing this decision.
I've 'phoned the DWP this afternoon to ask for a progress report: their representative informed me that they did receive notification of the decision on 15 August, but that they "couldn't give any timescale" on the claim being upgraded to account for the Tribunal's decision.
Is there anything else I should do to try and move the matter forward? It seems to be taking a heck of a long time! I have moved house in the past few weeks which I guess may have slowed things down - ? - albeit it seems my claim is already registered with the ESA office in my new area now ... I'd be grateful of any guidance anyone can offer.
we normally quote 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give it another week and give them another call. If they are still saying that they'll do it when they get to it then I would involved your MP.
