It's definitely not a bad thing but it may not be a good thing. This usually happens when there are significant differences between what is in the assessor report and what the claimant has written, both could be credible but there is insufficient independent evidence for them to make a Decision.

Just wondering, do the tribunal ever change the points already awarded? For example, I got 4 in the daily living, and 4 for mobility, or do they concentrate mainly on the disputed points?
Surely, it's about how your condition affects you as a person, not the condition itself.
In terms of the next hearing, I heard that sometimes this can be done over the phone, is this the case? I really don't think I could go through it again.
Sorry for all the questions, but you're so helpful. This site is fantastic.
Thanks,
Darren

If they are looking at the component then they will likely look at the points already awarded and can make changes to them if they feel it is appropriate.
Yes, they will be looking at your ability to complete each of the PIP activities rather than the conditions that you have.
You can request that any Oral hearing is held over the phone or using a video link, but it will depend on the facilities available at your local venue and also whether the panel feel that it is appropriate.
