What does DRT mean was created by Beragon
I am currently representing a friend in a ESA appeal. I am a bit confused as to where the Mandatory reconsideration actually took place. During the phone call from the ESA to my friend ( where they spoke to both the him, the claimant and myself ) we were told that the phone call was being made by a Decision maker based in Plymouth as this was the office that covered the City of Bath.
However in the court bundle it says the decision makers name and that he is based in Milton Keynes DRT AND Post handling site b in Wolverhampton. This sounds like either this person works at the post handling centre and he just rubber stamped the medical assessment document or he was based in Milton Keynes and did not have all the information to hand as we were told this was in Plymouth.
I will question this but need to know what DRT actually stands for as in Milton Keynes DRT
So what does DRT stand for?????

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

All mail sent to the DWP goes through a central mail handling site in Wolverhampton and is then distributed to the relevant office.
As to "DRT" I can't find a definition, it's not on the current address list for DWP offices.
The DWP appeal packet will have all of the documents used in the making of the Decision. The claim is held in a single file (ESA55), so they would either have all of the documents or none of them.
