This part of the process is usually quite short, whichever benefit is involved. I would expect you to hear within several weeks (although the occasional person has to wait very much longer).
May I ask that you keep all your queries relating to the same claim in one topic? It makes it very much easier for us and I hope you will find it useful to have everything in one place too

You can contact the assessment provider (ATOS or Capita, depending on where you live) if you want to find out what is happening.

Hi
we had a form submitted on the thursday and received first appointment date the following thursday. The F2F was set for 10 days from getting the letter which was dated on the tuesday. Rang and sent in doc letter for home appointment received new date 3 days later for 10 days away. Rang again as that was the one day support was not available and got another agreed on the phone and confirmed in letter 2 days later. New home visit one week after the previous date. Things are moving fast up here.
