incontinence was created by Suzeworld
I have been getting DLA for some years now, mainly down to faecal incontinence after two major bowel resections and damage from radiation therapy related to two lots of bowel cancer
It looks like the points system has now gone against me, as the incontinence was, in itself, enough points for DLA but now it only 6 points in this PIP thing.
Is there any point me even sending the form back - it looks like I will be one of the PIP losers ...

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

DLA looked at the amount of care that the claimant needs whereas PIP is a functional assessment that looks at the extent of your limitations.
You may be right that you won't receive an award, but if you don't send in the form you will never know and your DLA will be stopped immediately.
Remember you must be able to complete each of the PIP activities "reliably" and "on the majority of days", have a look at the PIP Claim guide for an explanation of this.

Thanks - I am having difficulty accessing the guide, actually. I have written to tech support about that.

We have a known problem with downloading the guides if you have ticked the "remember me" box when you last logged in.
Log out from the forum using the "logout" button.
Close your browser
Open your browser again and go to B&W
Login but don't tick "remember me"
You should now be able to download the guides.
You will need to log in each time you come back.

I'm afraid we mods have no control over technical aspects of the site. All I can suggest is that you try the tech department again.
