Time Limit for Sending Extra Info for PIP MR

Just to say for the benefit of others, that I have just rung DWP to make sure they have got my MR request and they have only given me 3 weeks (not 4 weeks) to get any extra evidence to them.

Also in previous phone calls I have sometimes been told 3 weeks and sometimes 4.

So please dont assume that you will be given 4 weeks to get extra evidence in. Always either check or get it in within the 3 weeks.

I got the 3 weeks thing too. Husband rang DWP to query it, saying we'd heard elsewhere it was 4. They just re-iterated it was 3.

Hard to get stuff together in that time - I'm sure that's why they do it.
