Hello everone
I have a query which I would be grateful of your help on please. I get DLA and because of my difficulties walking when we are going to shopping centres, supermarkets etc my husband takes me around in my wheelchair. He is starting to have problems with arthritis in his hands and I worry that pushing me is not helping him. If I was to try a mobility scooter instead of the wheelchair would this be classed as a change in condition/circumstances that I would I need to tell DWP about?? I dont want to just buy one and then find I loose my allowance because of it.

You are saying that the switch to a scooter rather than wheelchair is because of your husband's condition rather than yours? In which case, I see no need for you to inform DWP.
