Ummm... Too much to say and no brain!
I did get a letter from the nice lady neurologist who diagnosed me with L vestibular dysfunction. She said in it that I was fine to drive on the days that I felt safe to drive. Or words to that effect. Back then I was still driving when I felt well enough. Long time ago!
I have the form to apply for new driving licence, and have a recent photo if I can find it (groan), so hopefully can get the thing off before all hell breaks loose when get MR result!
Know the exhaustion thing - another reason for me to not drive. But I never drove when exhausted. I really resented Atos assessor saying I could do anything because "she can drive". After 11 years of not driving I think I would be dangerous to drive again without taking "top up" lessons.
I think DWP are just being nasty (so what's new!) over suggesting you shouldn't drive. Plus they always want to make excuses for their so-called assessments. Loss of face and all that sort of stuff.
Best wishes from Liverpool, Maggie
