Another Tribunal win! was created by Christne Hurley
I accompanied my sister yesterday to a Tribunal. The DWP initially assessed her as fit to work. We then went through mandatory reconsideration and they told me, on the phone, nothing in writing, that they agreed she should have ESA but in the WR group. We appealed this and yesterday the Tribunal agreed and have placed her in the support group where she belongs. The whole process has taken nearly a year - far too long and stressful. But I would have not been able to do any of this without the help of this site and your fantastic guides so a massive THANK YOU from my sister and me.

Well done to your sister.

It normally takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal Decision, she should check at the end of the week that the DWP have received a copy of the Decision Notice.

Well done Christine, I'm delighted whenever DWP decisions are overturned, and it seems to be happening a lot lately.
