I have a face to face assessment shortly. I will need my husband to take me there but I am I think it will be even more stressful answering the questions with him in the actual meeting - I find talking about my problems difficult anyway. is it better to have someone there or attend alone?
It doesn't really matter whether you attend alone or with company - so long as whatever you decide to do is in accord with what you have described on the PIP2 form.
Our PIP guide explains what to expect on the day and also explains the criteria you are being assessed against.
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic. It certainly makes things easier for us - and I hope you will find it useful too
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
