Hello everyone,
If you are on ESA and you go into hospital as an emergency and are then discharged and don't have any money to get home. Are the hospital supposed to arrange transport for you or the local council you live in?
Thanks.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Alex,
Phone either the hospital you are going to attend or your doctors surgery and ask if they have a Voluntary driver scheme. This is a free service provided by people who want to help. If the voluntary driver scheme is available in your area, you will probably need to book the driver 24hrs before your appointment/discharge.
