Payment for commenting on a MH guide

A mental health charity is asking for people to comment on a guide to making decisions about your health. They are paying £25 for two hours of time.
They say they aren;t sure if it would affect benefits or not.
Do you think it would be OK to do this? - while claiming PIP and ESA I mean.
Thanks.

It would have no impact on your PIP as it is not means tested, if your ESA is Income Related or contains an IR element then it could be considered as income.

I am getting support with commenting on the guide- they want someone with experience of being in the MH system, and having two weeks to write a comment and read it etc. Do you think this is a worry or not? It;s difficult as might be good experience for me apart from the money.
I can't possibly advice you either way, only you can make the decision.
