My wife was initially sent an appointment to attend an assessment centre with Atos. When I rang Atos to to say that she was unable to travel, I was told that although she "qualified" for a home assessment, they had no appointments available in the next two weeks. However If I rang the following week thiere may be one available and if not, I was advised to keep ringing until one was available. Miraculously they did find a slot for her within three weeks.
