CAPITA Complaint process was created by ChrissieT
Has anyone else been advised by a DWP agent to write a letter of complaint to CAPITA about the quality of their medical assessment report?
That's what I was told to do three weeks ago, in connection with my request for a mandatory reconsideration, and only found out yesterday that, according to the Capita call centre, the DWP agent LIED to me!!! CAPITA do not receive complaints about assessment reports by their "medical professionals".
So here am I, once again reduced to a hysterical wreck, and no further forward. How can this in any way be proper way for a Government office to conduct business? advice welcomed.

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

You most certainly can complain to Capita! This is a separate issue from any MR that might be carried out.

Put 'Capita PIP complain' into your search engine of choice and it will give you the information you need.

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
