0 mobility pip but car not been called back was created by doobie
Hi all. First time poster. shambolic assessment resulting in 0 mobility back in September appeal date due anytime. DWP still have not informed Motability of my loss of entitlement to the scheme. I have phoned motability 3 times but they say until DWP officially inform them I am still covered to drive my car.
Phoned DWP 3 times and they say its been put on system as actioned but can give me no more detail.
I am worrying about it and have been given no information from DWP ,however one agent said quite sharply that It is automatic and no need to speak to an adviser as they won't call you back about it. Advice would be so welcome thank you.

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
If you have contacted both Motability and DWP and both organisations have told you that there is nothing you need to do, I'm afraid I can't give you any other advice.
Please have a good look at our PIP guide so that you understand the criteria against which you are being assessed - I hope this will be helpful for your appeal.
PIP help for claimants
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too

I personally wouldn't be in any rush to get rid of the car. If they say you're covered then enjoy it while you can.

Just a quick update at long last after 3 phonecalls i have received my letter off motobility informing me the car has to be returned by 6th March so i will pick up my new car at the same time. Shambolic isnt the word for it I really feel that they are rubbing salt into the wound and I have been having to do their job for them (DWP that is) So dont be in any rush to get another car as you cannot return the motobility car for probably another 2 months.
