Many thanks for your help so far. I just wanted to check something else. My husbands format has to be back with the DWP by 3/4 but I am still waiting for copies of his mental health letters. I am posting the dreaded format tomorrow, can I send the letters at a later date? As I can't risk waiting for them and it arrives after 3/4
Thank you

Yes, take a note of the address you are returning the form to.
I would hold off sending anything else until you are contacted by the Assessment Provider, you can then send to them direct and also to the DWP.

So I should just send what letters I have? Should I state in his PIP form that there are more letters to follow or not
Many thanks

The vast majority of PIP claimants will have a face to face assessment this is carried out by the AP for your postcode.
Yes I would mention that you will providing more information as it becomes available.

Just wanted to say that we have today posted the dreaded form. So now just to wait, although I don't think we will hear anything for a good few weeks? I just wanted to say thanks for the help with the form. We used the words cannot reliably....... but must admit not in every question answered. We also used words such as psychological distress, unsafe and a few others. Hopefully I have not done the wrong thing by not using the word reliable in every answer? But with all said and done, it doesn't seem to matter what you put, they make you feel like a scrounger and a lier!
I will keep you updated

Just wnated to check something. We filled in my husnands PIP form and sent them back, not heard anything yet. Then probably not even a week later, he receives a form to fill out for ESA assesment! Just wondered if this is a common occurrence or is it pure coincidence?
We have'nt started the form yet though. I have downloaded the B&W guide for ESA. Is there anything else that I need to know?
Many Thanks
