There is hope! was created by solitude
Just a quick message about my PIP Tribunal decision today. I suffer from Agoraphobia and depression. I was awarded 0 points for DL and Mobility. My medical assessment was inaccurate and the MR confirmed that they felt I didn't qualify for any of the descriptors.
I appealed and did the paperwork on my own without any help BUT had the guidance of this great site. I couldn't even attend the tribunal today but sent my friend instead. He just phoned to say that I was awarded enhanced rate for Daily Living and Mobility on mental health grounds. I am thrilled.
I nearly gave up along the way, obviously I now am so glad I didn't!

Terrific news, well done.
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal Decision, I would ring them next week to make sure that they have received the Tribunal Notice.

Thanks Gordon.
One thing the Judge did say was that he expected the DWP to appeal the decision, which I wasn't even aware they could do. However he reassured my friend that he had enough material that it wouldn't be successful.

Both you and the DWP have a further right of appeal to the Upper Tier Tribunal, not because you disagree with the Decision that was made, but rather because you believe that there was an Error of Law in it's making.
What your Judge is saying is that he does not believe that the DWP will find any Error.
