Hello
My husband got a PIP award review to fill in and we send it off last week. His award wasn't due for renewal till Feb 2018, but reading through other people post this seems to be the norm.
At one o'clock today the DWP rang my husband but he was at the hospital for an app. They obviously wouldn't tell me what the call was about but why would they be ringing him ??
He rang the number back it when he came in, and it said welcome to PIP Dept, but when he spoke to somebody they said his renewal is still being looked at and it want that department that rang him ...Feeling very confused

There are no obvious reasons for the DWP to contact your husband at this point in the reassessment process. As long as there are no issues in regard to his returning the form on time, I'm afraid all I can say is wait to see if they contact him again.
