industrial injuries review was created by kendo
hi I have been receiving industrial injuries benefit for almost 40 years and now at 64
the disability is getting worse mainly due to arthritis to my injured hand can I have it reviewed
and if so what are the chances of a reduction in % as now I'm getting 30% for life?

I'm really sorry but this is not a benefit that we advise on.
Do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I suggest you check with CAB to help you with this.
If you now have arthritis do not ask for a re assessment as they can take all your Ind Inj, and this is often the case re this with arthritis. Any degenerative disease can purport to a reduction of your Ind Inj life time award and can even be backdated.
Your initial problem in which you got your Ind Inj is now not what is making your hand worse, it is the arthritis and therefore has no bearing on an increase cos of a problem due to a work place incident only a detrimental effect. So leave be is my advice after consulting a CAB person who contacted Ind Inj on my behalf and that was what we were told. If you look online it will be telling you exactly that
