Hi I'm so ill today I received my face 2 face apt at Leicester I live in Nottingham don't drive suffer with PTSD anxiety dreppression and lower back issues I can hardly walk I filled in my renewal form in Jan saying nothing changed but some have got worse . I spoke to the apts today saying my last apt was a home visit as I find it very hard to go to my gp never mind a medical . He was so rude and said if I don't get to apt @ 9.30 my claim will be stopped I only asked if they could come to me . Well today I'm in a mess I feel like a fraud any advice please

I'm afraid you won't get a home assessment without a letter from your GP explaining why you cannot attend at Capita's offices.
If the current appointment is the first one that you have received then you can rearrange it once without penalty, if it is the second then you must attend or they will return your file to the DWP who will likely close your claim.

Thank you Gordon spoke to a nice chap said I'm on the notes to have home visit no need for a letter from gp
