hi, my auntie has just received her dla to pip letter, middle rate dla to enhanced care, but her low rate dla mobility was stopped receiving 4 points, only, for planning and following a journey,she has a diagnosis of agoraphobia, I know they raised the bar to make it much harder to get an award for mobility. So i was wondering if it would be worthwhile requesting an MR, which will more than likely lead to an appeal and everything that ,that ,would entail.

She could get a Standard award for meeting Descriptor (e), see the PIP Claim guide.

She did not request a home visit, because they have just ignored her GP requests for a home visit in the past, Will that be used against her if she goes for descriptor e. Thanks

It won't help and it will depend on how often she goes out. The Descriptor uses the word "cannot". I think it reasonable to argue that this does not mean never because of the requirement to perform the activity reliably but I do think that the level of restriction will need to be far higher than the normal "on the majority of days".
It would be down to you to argue this.
