Hi just looking for some advice - I'm due to AR1 form in next few months - I'm hoping for a paper based review with support off my doctor- I only had a face to face 12 months ago when the date for reassessment approaches - would it add any weight getting support off my mp for this ? I did make contact explained my disabilities and the stress of the last assessment -she asked for my personal details and said she would look into it -any advice would be appreciated thank you

It can't hurt, but you will have to have exhausted all of the normal processes first.

Thanks for your reply , so it would be pointless to involve or ask my mp for support until the outcome of the reassessment?

No!
You were asking about getting a paper assessment! You need to have done everything you can to arrange this before contacting your MP, for example getting your GP to write to the Assessment Provider, as the first thing that your MP will do is ask you to do this.

My doctor is going to write a letter of support details with reference to pip descriptors -she is also going to include a sentence to say that she supports me in requesting a paper based assessment given that I had a face 2 face less than 12months ago and how detrimental that was to my m.h, and that the evidence provided should be sufficeient for this , would this be ok?
