From the site owner
Browsers such as Firefox and Chrome are trying to encourage site owners to convert their sites from http to https and putting up notices like this is one of the ways they are doing so.
We are in the process of moving to https, but it will take some time. Search engines treat moving from http to https as a site move to a new URL and thus search rankings can be very badly affected unless the move is done carefully and, Google suggests, in sections
We are taking steps to make the login sections of our site compliant within the next few weeks.
However, we never have access to any of your financial information - that is all dealt with by Paypal and Worldpay.
The only information we have about you is your forum name, user name, email address and password. So, there is very little useful information that could be gained by anyone accessing our site without authority, unless the same password is used for sites which do store financial information. It would not give them access to any of your payment details or other personal details.
We do have a webmaster who ensures that our software is kept updated and that we have security precautions, such as firewalls in place at all times and the site is constantly monitored for any attempts at unauthorised access.
I hope this information is helpful.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was more concerned - before your v helpful explanation - that some naughty person on the web could access my info. I didn't for one second think that those running this site would be anything less than scrupulously honest and trustworthy.
