Hi, received my letter last week regarding PIP, care is at standard rate, mobility at enhanced, both for a period of 2 years, DLA was Lifetime.
Seeking advice as to whether I should ask for mandatory reconsideration, details on my paperwork stated that my condition could change, I am a below knee amputee, doubt this will change! My new PIP award no longer allows me to have a motability scheme car.
Forgive me but I am confused by your post, you say you have an Enhanced Mobility award, this qualifies your for the Motability scheme and as your award is longer than a year there should be no problem with you getting a car.
Whether you should appeal the Daily Living award depends on whether you can realistically see yourself scoring the extra points that you need for an increased award?
