hello my first time on here my wife received the brown envelope yesterday and she was awarded stanndard rate for both but we think it should have been enhanced rate for both because there are so many things incorrect in medical assessment report any ideas where we go now about reconsideration

Hi David,
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
I'm sorry your wife did not get the result she should have
She now has 1 month, from the date on the decision letter, to get a mandatory reconsideration request to DWP. Our PIP guide explains how to go about this.

If you do not already have a copy of the assessor's report, this is worth doing. DWP send them out on request and it will help you understand why points were not awarded as expected.
However, if the report has not arrived in time, do not delay getting the MR requested. You do not have to go into a lot of detail initially and DWP should allow more time to get additional information to them if you explain that you are awaiting the report.
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your wife's PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too
