Hi , Are aids that you've purchased yourself taken into account when being assessed for pip? Most of mine I've been given by adult social care after I've been assessed , but a few cheaper ones I've bought myself..like adapted cutlery Thank you June
They are provided their use is required to complete an activity, if they simply make it easier for you to complete an activity but you can reliably complete it without the use of the aid then it will not count.
