I have been in receipt of ESA, DLA and Housing Benefit for over 10 years. Does anyone know if these benefits would change/be stopped if I were to Marry.
I'm afraid it will depend on both your circumstances so I can't give you an answer on the forum. Get face to face advice, a trained advisor can work out what you will be eligible for and explain any issues that you might have.
Do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.
I can tell you that your DLA will not be affected.
I would expect your HB to change.
Your ESA may be affected depending on whether you are receiving ESA(CB) or ESA(IR).
