I received a phone call on a Wednesday telling me an assessor would be coming to my home the following Tuesday (not 7 days notice). When he arrived he said he was from Atos but didn't give his qualifications. We asked - he was a mental health nurse. I have PTSD after being attacked in an office. I explained the great difficulty (flashbacks, panic attacks, severe anxiety) I'd had filling out the PIP form and obtaining evidence from everyone involved with me - 5 people. He said they'd only read the first two anyway. I was too stunned and upset to say anything. After he left the postman came with a letter from Atos saying I was to have a home visit!
