re assessed for PIP & ESA overlapping? was created by Heather4
I received my decision letter for PIP yesterday not happy and will go for Mandatory reconsideration. I have a full ESA form that I have to submit by next Monday can they do this? Totally stressed by doing them in parallel.

I'm afraid that the ESA and PIP departments don't talk to each other.

of course nothing so sensible as that!
I have moved arears will the new area have all the paperwork from previous ESA assessments? I suppose its too much to hope that if they have them they will actually read them.

Your MR request needs to be sent to the office that issued the Decision Letter even if that is not the office that is local to you, they can then sort out whether they will handle it or whether it is passed to the new office with all of your paperwork.
