Hi My son is waiting for his tribunal date after being found fit for work. In the meantime he has attended a PIP re-assessment and has been awarded standard daily care and enhanced mobility. He has requested the health assessment and its on its way. My question is will this health assessment help at his ESA appeal. Should he include it in his appeal. According to the decision maker's words on his PIP award there are vast differences from his ESA assessment and his PIP assessment.
There's no harm in your doing so but you will need to draw the panel's attention to where the PIP result is applicable to his ESA claim. There are areas of overlap between the two benefits but even where there are the criteria can still be different..
