Hi, I have moved to a different part of the country and my new GP practice really don't know me, only be here a few months. Can I ask my previous GP who knew me for 17 years to give a report to send in with a ESA claim form?

There's no harm in asking but I'm afraid I would be surprised if they are able to help, not least because they will no longer have access to your medical records.
