PIp appeal and new claim was created by Barbara
I lost my DLA last October was not awarded pip because of nil points at assessment .not awarded at reconsideration put appeal in .Had not had sight of my original application as I have no way of copying any documents also had no sight of full report from Face to Face assessment just reason for mandatory decision more or less agreeing with award of nil points in the assessment .Did not see these docs until after I had sent in my appeal .Have realised that at the time I completed the application form I was extremely ill and did not completely fill in the form before sending it in .The face to face is ludicrous my mother died the week before Atos would not give me another appointment I had to go the day after the funeral .and my mental health is not good at the best of times So I have a lot to say to the tribunal should I write to them before I get the date to appear /Also I was refused to apply for pip just before my 65th birthday which was on the 12th December but was allowed to make a new claim on the 6th of January since then my mental and physical health has drastically deteriorated my financial position is dire I took out a loan last year for house repairs only because I thought my DLA was until 2020 .I have also lost pension credit and have now to pay council tax .Problems with my new claim Idont drive have never had a car ATOS wanted me to go 65 miles away to an assessment even thought one of my problems is agoraphobia I called them to request a home visit .the girl told me that I could not have one when I asked why she said it was because I am aggressive ,I thought she had the wrong claim but somebody had flagged it up as that she told me that you can only asl once for another appointment .My doctor wrote a note which I sent to the DWP confirming my agoraphobia .since then I have heard nothing should I contact the DWP .I find life difficult I have now not been out since the assessment last year .I take nine different meds for heart and mental health and problems with pain and take 6 to 8 pain relief tablets a day .Because I do not go out it is impossible to get help I live on my own my son lives in Taiwan and my daughter in Cornwall .Could I ask the DWP for help .Could you advice

I would definitely create a submission for your appeal as it will allow you to deal with all of your issues in one place. Remember that an award will only be made by your showing the you meet the criteria for one, so this should be your primary focus in the document.
I think it unlikely that you will get a home assessment if you have been marked as aggressive in your file but you have nothing to lose by pushing the matter.
You say you have sent your GP's letter to the DWP, it needs to go to the Assessment Provider, the DWP have nothing to do with decision about where an assessment is to be held.
As a fall back position ask for a taxi.
