Hello
Habing had a face to face around a week ago Ive learned today the report was sent 4 days later and that these take 5 days to get to the DWP Does it nor mnally take them 4 days to send a report ? I shoudl have thought they transmit them electronically ?

My understanding is that an electronic copy is sent as soon as it is finished and received immediately, although I believe it has to be logged as received before it can be accessed by DWP staff. A hardcopy is also sent but would not expect it to take five day to get to the DWP.
Most member have no problems requesting the report a day or two after the assessment. I only say to leave it a couple of days to avoid the DWP saying that they don't have it and the claimant having to ring back.

I would have thought they would not take long to log electronic reports as received. But I guess it isnt always very immediate
