From ESA support - to ESA WRAG was created by 0124katee
I have been on old incapacity benefit since 1999 and then since 2013 ESA CB Support group . I lost this after an assessment in November 2016.
Appealed and my doctor certificated me since Nov 2016 , and they paid me the £73.10 basic rate ESA .
The tribunal was only last week , and the judge agreed I should be in the WRAG Group with a review no sooner than 2 yrs, as I already do permitted work that they know about - only small amounts.. Today I have a letter from DWP confirming I will be on CB ESA at £73.10 until November 2017 - and then I d have to claim income based which I won't be eligible to meet the criteria.
The representatives from unemployed workers centre thought the outcome was fair enough - so I won't be able to appeal .
However my understanding was that I would receive the extra component as my claim isn't a new one since April 17 , it's been ongoing since 1996 - but they make no mention of the £29.05 a week which I believed would be paid ? I left my full time job in 1996 of ill health reasons, anxiety one of the main ones .
Please will you advise if I should query this , and thank s for help getting so far to all at your office ,

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

If your Tribunal was last week then I doubt very much that the letter was in connection with the Decision, it normally takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result.
I would give them a ring just to confirm that they have received the Decision Notice.
